Obituary of Dorothy E. Ramsey

Dorothy Ramsey died peacefully February 17, 2017 at Tecumseh Place, Michigan with friends at her side. She was born October 12, 1917 in Decatur, Illinois the daughter of Charles Sr. and Sallie Theobald. She married Morey Ramsey who has preceded her in death. She was employed as an AT & T telephone operator for many years. She lived in Bellflower, California before coming back to Michigan under a nieces care. She travelled, enjoyed bingo and spending time with her family. She lived a few years with her niece Betty Ann Patterson in Maybee, Michigan. i She was preceded in death by Betty Ann Patterson, by her husband Morey,, parents, 3 brothers, Charles, Ralph and John, and 3 sisters, Grace Shane, Anna Williams and Mary Knifka. She had many nieces and nbephews, too many to name. Friends may call on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at 1 PM at the Dundee Senior Center. Officiating will be Rev. Chris Butson. In accordance with her wishes cremation has been held. Inurnment will take place later at Rose Hills Cemetery in Whittier, California. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to London United Methodist Church or to Dundee Senior Citizens Center.
