Obituary of Catherina Norris

Catherina ‘Katie’ Norris, age 82, of Dundee, Michigan passed away at her home under the care of her family and Great Lakes Caring Hospice on Saturday, October 15, 2016. She was born in Victoria, Texas March 22, 1934 the daughter of Jesus Jasso and Felipa Rodriguez. She married Richard John Norris May 24, 1957 at McFadden, Texas, They moved to Dundee in 1969, coming from Highland, California. She is survived by her husband Richard John Norris; sons Louis Duron and John R. Norris, Jr; daughters Emily, Felipa, and Genevieve Elaine Gotts; 14 grandchildren; many, many great-grandchildren; brother Jesse; sisters Hermina, Cuca, China, Margie and Sandy. Friends may call and visit with the family on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 from 1 PM until funeral memorial services at 4 PM at the Cover Funeral Home, 297 Tecumseh Street in Dundee (734-529-3156) Officiating will be be Rev. Fr. Tom Burdette, pastoral chaplain of Ann Arbor. Cremation had been held. Cremation entombment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Monroe at a later date. Everyone is invited for memories and refreshments at the Dundee VFW Memorial Building on McBride Street after the service from 5 – 8 PM. Memorials may be made to the family.
