Obituary of DeWayne Franklin Phelps

DeWayne F. Phelps, age 44, of Dundee, Michigan passed away Thursday, April 7, 2016 at St. John Providence Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He was born in Monroe October 1, 1971. He was the adopted son of Donald and Mary (Laramore) Whaley. He attended Monroe County I.S.D. and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Dundee. His survivors include his mother Mary; brothers Clint Phelps, Raymon Whaley and sisters Gena Polley, Ruth Turner, Charlotte Wylie, Jami Clawson and Jerrilee Laramore. He was preceded in death by his father Donald Wahley and brothers Kevin Polley and Dennis Polley. He will lie in state Tuesday, April 12, 2016 from 1:30 Pm until service at 2:30 PM at Calvary Baptist Church in Dundee. Officiating will be Rev. Don Brown, church pastor. Cremation has been held.
