Obituary of Shantell Marie Mullins

Shantell Marie Mullins, age 25, of Monroe and formerly of Maybee, passed away at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, Michigan on May 1, 2015. Shantell was born April 22, 1990 in Ann Arbor, Michigan the daughter of Tracie Louise Mullins. She grew up in Maybee and had attended Dundee Community Schools. She did receive her G.E.D. Friends may call on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 from 1 – 8 PM at the Cover Funeral Home, 297 Tecumseh Street in Dundee (734-529-3156) A memorial service in her memory will be held that same day at 7 PM at the funeral home. Officiating will be Rev. Dave Voss of Petersburg. In accordance with her wishes cremation has been held. Shantell is survived by her father Steven Buffington of Michigan and her mother Tracie Louise Lazette of Maybee; daughters Adrianna Nichole (Kaity Adrianna) Teiking and Samantha Jeanne; brothers Michael Mullins, Shane Mullins , Joseph Lazette and Matthew White; grandparents Wilma Buffington (the late George)(the late David "PaPaw" Liedel) and Kathryn Sponaugle (the late James); grandfather Clarence Jennings; aunts and uncles Regina (Frank) Carroll, Phyllis (Jeff) Cornell, Donna Buffington, Laurie Shafer, Michaelle Rafalko-Heldt, Clarence, Dean, Danny and Duane – all Jennings.; also many cousins, nieces and nephews. Memorials for her may be made to a fund in her name at gofundme.com to help pay for funeral expenses. At a future date the family will be having a gathering to celebrate Shantell’s memory.
