Obituary of Curtis E. Ringbloom
Curtis E. Ringbloom, age 54, of London Township went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 3, 2014. He passed away at his home with his family at his side, always trusting in God. He valiantly fought colo-rectal cancer for the past 4 ½ years, never giving up the fight. Curt was the son of Carl and Dolores (Strenko) Ringbloom. He was born in Dearborn, Michigan September 6, 1959. He graduated from Dundee High School in 1977 where he was a member of the band and had attended Monroe County Community College. He married Gwendolyn (Wendy) A. Murray October 22, 1983 at the First United Presbyterian Church in Dundee. He was baptized in Scofield. He spent most of his life since he was 12 in London Township, coming from Dearborn Heights. He became a journeyman tool and die maker in the Tooling and Machining Association in 1987. He worked the past 5 years at Midway Products Group in Monroe. He loved hunting, fishing and trapping. He grew a large vegetable garden every year. He was active with his family and while his children were in school attended most of their track and cross country meets. He is survived by his wife Wendy; sons Craig (Emily) Ringbloom of Raisinville Twp., Joshua (Mallory) Ringbloom of Plymouth Twp; daughter Lauren Ringbloom of London Township; grandchildren Addison, Mason and Matthew; mother and stepfather Dolores (Alger R.) Elwell of Dundee; brother Carl J. Ringbloom of Saline; stepbrother William (Judith) Elwell of New Boston. He was preceded in death by his father Carl Ringbloom in 1975. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, September 8, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be Rev. Harold Raymond, pastor of Amazing Grace Baptist Church.
