Obituary of Allan C. Wolf

Allen C. Wolf, age 69, of Dundee, passed away suddenly at his home on Sunday, March 23, 2014. He was born in Monroe, Michigan, November 22, 1944 to Karl and Dorothy (Hoffman) Wolf. He married Mary Lu Muck October 4, 1969 at St. Joseph Shrine in the Irish Hills. He was a graduate of Huron High School in New Boston in 1962. After graduating from high school he went to work at the State Hospital in Ypsilanti. He joined the United States Army after that and served in Vietnam. When he was discharged he went back to work at the State Hospital until retiring when it closed. He also had farmed in Dundee Township since 1970. He loved hunting and fishing and made three hunting trips to Alaska. His survivors include his wife Mary Lu and his sister Mary Ann Wolf also of Dundee. He was preceded in death by his parents and his step father Dewey Virgil Holt. Friends may call on Thursday from 2 – 8 PM at the Cover Funeral Home, 297 Tecumseh Street in Dundee (734-529-3156) Funeral services will be held Friday, March 28, 2014 at 11 AM at the funeral home. Officiating will be Rev. Harold Raymond, pastor of Amazing Grace Baptist Church in Temperance. Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dundee. Military graveside services will be conducted by the Dundee Veterans Military Group. Memorials in his name may be made to the Dundee Volunteer Fire Department or to St. Gabriel Parish of Dundee.
