Obituary of Jeffrey R. Fritzler

Jeffrey R. Fritzler, age 53, of Monroe, Michigan died suddenly at his home on Wednesday, February 5, 2014. Born December 7, 1960 in Jackson, Michigan he was the son of Robert and Peggy (Harris) Fritzler. He attended Dundee Community Schools and had worked at the Ford Motor Company Plant in Milan until its closing. Growing up he was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Dundee where he was baptized, confirmed and married. He married Sally LaVigne at St. John March 17, 1990. Officiating was Rev. Gerald Elsholz. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 9, 2014 from 12 noon until 9 P.M. at the Cover Funeral Home, 297 Tecumseh Street in Dundee (734-529-3156). He will lie in state onMonday, February 10, 2014 from 10 AM until 11 AM services at St. John Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. Jen Kiefer. In accordance with his wishes, cremation will follow the services. He is survived by his wife Sally; parents Robert and Peggy Fritzler of Dundee; children Ken (Michelle) Fix of Toledo, David (Allison) Fritzler of Dundee, Matthew (Tonya) Fix of Monroe, Asja (Bill) Gorr of Blissfield and Amanda Fritzler of Monroe; sisters Julie (Mark) Smith of Dundee and Jill Gray of Dundee; 20 grandchildren and 2 great-greatgrandchildren.
