Obituary of Joseph Alan Owens

Joseph Alan Owens , age 32, a lifelong resident of Dundee passed away at his home Sunday, April 21, 2013 . He was born in Monroe on June 28, 1980 the son of Tommy and Connie (Wloch) Owens. Joe attended the Monroe County ISD from age 4 till age 26. He also attended Hope Center in Monroe. He loved bowling at the Monroe Sports Center and loved being around people. He also was a member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Monroe. He is survived by his parent’s Tom and Connie Owens of Dundee; brother Tommy J. Owens II, of Dundee and sister Jae Claudette Patricia (Chris) Langley of Noblesville, Indiana; one niece; one nephew; grandparents Marie Owens of Monroe and Chester and Alice Wloch of Ida. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Edward Owens. Friends may call on Tuesday from 1 – 8 PM at the Cover Funeral Home, 297 Tecumseh Street in Dundee (734-529-3156). He will lie in state from 10-11 AM with the funeral service at 11 AM on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, 3589 Heiss Road, Monroe. Officiating will be the Rev.
