Obituary of Betty C. Erby

Betty C. Erby, age 73 of Milan and formerly of Dundee died Sunday , March 3, 2013 at the Arbor Hospice Residence in Ann Arbor. She was born June 8, 1939 in Dundee the daughter of Russell and Marian (Masten) Bracey. She married Fred E. Erby November 5, 1955 at Dundee. Betty was raised in Dundee and attended Dundee Schools. She loved family, sewing, bunko and traveling. She had previously worked as a nurse’s aide at the Evangelical Home in Saline. She is survived by her husband Fred; a son Rick Erby of Jackson; daughters Debra Erby and Tammy (Kevin) Keefe both of Milan; grandchildren Angie Mowdy, Tasha (Bud) Harkness, Derrick Keefe and Sheila (Sean) Ballard; brother Bill Bracey of Petersburg and a sister Joyce Clark of Dundee. She was preceded in death by a stillborn sister Dorothy Bracey. Friends may call on Tuesday from 2 PM until 8 PM at the Cover Funeral Home, 297 Tecumseh Street in Dundee (734-529-3156)Her funeral will be at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at the funeral home. Officiating will be Rev. Douglas Olsen, pastor of the Dundee United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Dundee.
