Obituary of John E. Cunningham

John Ephraim Cunningham, age 79, of Dundee, passed away at the trauma unit at the University of Michigan Hospital Tuesday, January 22, 2013 after suffering a fall in his home. He was born in Brooklyn, NY, February 9, 1933 to Edward and Barbara (Kraus) Cunningham. He served as a Sgt. the US Marine Corp from 1951 to 1954. He retired from Motor City Plastics Co in Dundee as chief engineer. After retirement he went to work at Cabela’s for 12 years. He loved hunting and fishing and the great outdoors. He married Dorothy L. Ellis March 19, 1969 at Sherburne, NY. Survivors include his wife Dottie; children Joan, Susan and Terry, sons Jim and John; stepchildren JoAnn Powell, Sandra Hendricks and John Powell; 6 grandchildren; sister Mary Hulbert; He was preceded in death by a daughter Christine Cooper and a brother Edward.
