Obituary of Mary Jo Brossia

Mary Jo Brossia, age 68, of Dundee, passed away at 4:03 A.M., Monday morning, November 5, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving and caring family. She was born in Eaton Rapids, Michigan October 15, 1944 the daughter of Eugene and Marian (Pilbeam) Kish. She drove a school bus for 27 years for the Dundee Community schools and retired in 2004. She also had worked for Rollo Juckette Auctioneering for many years and the Dundee Community Auction. She loved spending time with her family; her breakfast club in Dundee; travelling and casino’s; following and attending her grandchildren’s sports and school activities and of course enjoyed her cats. Mary Jo married the love of her life, Larry E. Brossia Sr. on October 20, 1962 at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Ida. She is survived by her husband Larry E. Brossia, Sr. of Dundee, two daughters Lori (Ron) Bruce of Dundee and Lisa (William) Root III of Maybee; son Larry E. (Ann) Brossia Jr. of Dundee; grandchildren Kyle Brossia and Emily Brossia; brother Eugene (Bud) (Jackie) Kish of Britton. She was preceded in death by her parents. Friends may call on Wednesday from 2 – 8 PM at the Cover Funeral Home, 297 Tecumseh Street in Dundee (734-529-3156). She will lie in state on Thursday, November 8, 2012 from 10 AM until services at 11 AM at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Ida. Officiating will be the Rev. Ted D.
