Obituary of Lillian D. Sloan
Lillian Doris (MaMaw) Sloan September 1, 1928 – January 26, 2012 Mrs. Lillian D. (MaMaw) Sloan, age 82 of Dundee, Michigan passed away at 1:07 P.M., Thursday, January 26, 2012 at the home of her grandson and his wife in Grand Blanc, Michigan. She was born in Leon, Mason County, West Virginia September 1, 1928 the daughter of William Homer and Oma (Spurlock) Graham. She married Thomas F. Sloan May 10, 1955 at Hurricane, Putnam County, West Virginia. Sadly he preceded her in death June 27, 2001. She is a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Dundee. Her survivors include her two daughters Stephanie (Paul) Spaulding of Milan and Tammie (Sonny) Sloan of Ypsilanti; grandchildren Tom Smith of Flat Rock, Tamara (Eric) Larson of Ypsilanti, David and Amy Craft (the precious Angel of her life of Grand Blanc where she made her home the remaining months of her life) and Sabrina Gonzales of Ypsilanti; great-grandchildren Kyla and Selena Smith of Milan, William Russ of Dundee, David John (D.J.) of Ypsilanti and Emma Owen, Anna Craft of Grand Blanc. She was preceded in death by her husband, infant son William Sherman (Billy) Graham of Leon, West Virginia, sister Opal Stamn of Sandusky, Ohio and brothers Sherman (Bus) Graham and William (Bill) Graham of Leon, West Virginia. Friends may call on Sunday from 3 – 9 P.M. at the Cover Funeral Home, 297 Tecumseh Street in Dundee (734-529-3156). Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, Jan. 30, 2012 at the funeral home. Officiating will be the Rev. Don Brown, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Dundee. Cremation will follow the services with her cremains being interred with her husband in West Virginia. Memorials in her memory may be made to Heartland Hospice, 1321 S.
