Obituary of Duane H. Dunmore

Duane Henry Dunmore, age 73, of Monroe and formerly of Dundee, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at Mercy Memorial Hospital in Monroe. He was born in Dundee on June 30, 1938 the son of Howard and Minnie (Beening) Dunmore. He married Laura Lee Evans on July 17, 1965 in Monroe. He was a Monroe County lifetime resident, graduated from Dundee High School in 1957, enjoyed fishing and had been employed at the University of Michigan and the La-Z-Boy Boy Chair Company. Duane’s survivors include his wife Laura Lee Dunmore of Monroe; daughters Kimberly Peters and Vicky Cook both of Michigan; six grandchildren; three sisters Donna (Richard) Rodziewicz of Petersburg, Wilma (Martin) Bogedain of Maybee and Margaret Owens of Dundee. In accordance with his wishes, he donated his body to the Anatomical Department at University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date.
