Obituary of Warren J. Missler
Warren J. Missler, age 93 of Findlay, Ohio, formerly of Dundee, died August 19, 2018.m He was born in Monroe, Michigan April 1, 1925 the son ofg Merlyn and Grace (Heisler) Missler. Warren graduated from Dundee High School in 1943. He married Frances E. Roe on August 30, 1947 at St. John Lutheran Church in Dundee. They were married 65 years before she passed away February 20, 1012. He worked for Tecumseh Products for 39 years retiring in 1987. He was in the Army during World War II serving in the Phillipines from 1943-1946. He was past Commander of the Dundee VFW Post and All American Commander in Tupelo, Mississippi. He is a former mayor of the village of Dundee. He was an avid golfer and wood worked, enjoying bowling, fishing and painting. He is survived by a son Terry (Wendy) Missler of Lake Ann, MI, daughters Jackie (Tim) Bodine of Monroe and Robin (Eric) Massinon of Franklin, Indiana; 11 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, brothers Robert, Russell, Arnold and Gerald; sister Arlene and grand-daughter Nichole Rae Evans. Per his wishes cremation has been held. There will be no formal visitation or services. Arrangements were handled by the Cover Funeral Home in Dundee. Cremains interment will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dundee. Memorials may be made to the Dundee VFW.
