Patsy Ann Zieske, age 83, of Dundee, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2017 at the emergency room at Promedica Regional Monroe Hospital. She was born in Monroe, Michigan June 21, 1933 the daughter of Herman and Elizabeth (Libby)(Rasp) Kruse. She graduated from Dundee High School in 1951 and married Delbert (Jim) Zieske January 19, 1952 at St. John Lutheran Church in Dundee. Jim passed away July 3, 2002 in Tucson, Arizona. Patsy enjoyed reading and music and following the Detroit Tigers. She and Jim had moved to Tucson and after he passed away she came back home to Dundee. She was baptized, confirmed and married at St. John in Dundee. She had worked for Edwards Brothers in Ann Arbor and Yeck Manufacturing in Dundee. She is survived by siblings Fred (Suzanne) Kruse of Adrian, Herman (Donna) Kruse of Dundee, Mary Heinl of Dundee and Sandy (Chuck) Benore of Dundee; sister in law Sharon Kruse of Dundee; in laws Leroy (Barbara) Zieske; many nieces and nephews and many grand nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and brother William (Will) Kruse and brother in law Robert Heinl and sister in law Margaret Jobert. A memorial service for Patsy will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, February 25, 2017 at St. John Lutheran Church in Dundee. Inurnment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dundee with a luncheon immediately following the committal at the church parish hall. Officiating will be the Rev. Jennifer Kiefer, church pastor. In accordance with her wishes cremation has been held. Memorials may be made to the Will Kruse Scholarship Fund at Dundee Community Schools or to St. John Lutheran Church.
