Obituary of James B. Thompson

James B. Thompson, age 81, a lifelong resident of Petersburg, Michigan passed away at his daughters home in Toledo under her care and Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born in Summerfield Township November 4, 1935 the son of Arthur and Alice (Brown) Thompson. He married Rita Lindhorst at the Petersburg Presbyterian Church. He was a self employed building contractor who enjoyed spending time with his family. His survivors include his daughters Jean Brown of Houghton Lake, Michigan Teresa Sheroian of Toledo and Linda Thompson of Virginia; sister in law Thelma Thompson of Petersburg; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Rita on August 10, 2013, his son Ronald Thompson; siblings Art, Tom Charley Wilson, Mary Thompson and Marge Cauchie. Friends may call Friday from 4 – 8 PM at Cover Funeral Home in Dundee (734-529-3156) . His funeral will be held Saturday, September 3, 2016 at the funeral home.
