Obituary of Auge Lukasik

Auge Lukasik, age 93 of Temperance formerly of Dundee and Milan Township, passed away May 24, 2012 at Fountain View of Monroe. She was born in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of Alexander and Anastasia (Jaroscz) Puslyo. She married John A. Lukasik on February 15, 1942 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. They celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary in 1992. Sadly he passed away February 19, 1999. She graduated from Cass Tech High School in Detroit in 1934 and was a licensed cosmetologist and barber. In accordance with her wishes cremation has been held. A Memorial Mass will be said at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, June 2, 2012 at St. Irene Catholic Church, 568 Main Street in Dundee. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Michael Woroniewicz, pastor of the church. Her cremains will be interred at Marble Park Cemetery in Milan. A funeral luncheon will immediately follow the Mass at the St. Irene Parish Hall. She s survived by her son Daryl Lukasik of Temperance and her daughter and son in law, Elaine and Leonard Gregory of Lambertville. She was preceded in death by her husband John and two sisters, Ann Jaros and Norma Jean Pentrics. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, the Monroe County Humane Society or to St. Irene Catholic Church.
