Obituary of Catherine R. Mangan

Catherine R. Mangan (Cathy Motylinski), age 60 , of Dundee, passed away Friday, May 12, 2017 at University Hospital in Ann Arbor. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 11, 1957 the daughter of Felix (Mo) and Kathleen Mary (Jenkins) Motylinski. She graduated from Dundee High School in 1975 and then joined the US Navy from 1975 to 1976. She also graduated from Ross Business school in accounting and bookkeeping. She had worked for a long time for Metro Specialties and was currently employed at Finisher’s Unlimited. She loved spending time with her family and friends and doting on her grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held from 12 noon until 8 PM on Monday, May 15, 2017 at the Cover Funeral Home, 297 Tecumseh Street in Dundee (734-529-3156 or 888-343-4176) Services will be held at the funeral home at 11 AM, Tuesday, May 16, 2017. Co-Officiating will be Deacons George Cousino and Mike Stewart. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dundee. Memorials in her name may be made to The Dundee Fire Fighters Association. Cathy is survived by her sons Philip (Tammy) Mangan of Maumee, OH; Steven of Dundee; daughters Maria (Brian) Moran of Dundee and Elizabeth (Andrew) Clement of Southgate; 7 grandchildren: Cameron, Connor, Andrew, Austen, Aubrey, Landon and Lincoln; brother Phillip (Margaret) Motylinskiof Maybee; Gregory (Gaile) Motylinskiof Maybee; Thomas Motylinski of Dundee; Daniel (Angela) Motylinski of Dundee; Donald (Susan) Motylinski of IL; sisters Anne (Donald) Smith of Monroe; Elizabeth Cooley of Missouri; Nancy (Fred) Haas of Livonia; Louise ( David) Bonnette of Downers Grove, IL. She was preceded in death by 2 sons Christopher Andrew and Ryan August; her parents; sister Mary Rose Motylinski and brother Dennis Motylinski.
