Edna Ann Stoner was born in Monroe, Michigan on July 22, 1928. She was the daughter of the late Daniel Dunnam and the late Olga Nielson. Edna graduated from St. Mary's Academy in the year of 1946. Edna supported her family as a Supervisor and retired from Owen Illinois in Milan, Michigan. She was the President for the Paper Workers Union in Milan, a member of Ladies VFW Auxilliary Post 3265 of Toledo since 1980 and a member of the American Legion of Erie. Edna was known for being one of a kind, had lots of friends and was well respected among her peers. In her quiet times, she was an avid reader and gardener. To keep physically fit, Edna enjoyed swimming her daily laps. She loved to travel the United States and was a dedicated snow bird up until 8 years ago. Edna Ann Stoner, age 84 of Deerfield Township passed away on June 3, 2013 at home. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by two husbands: Elmer John Cronk and William Stoner; two sons: Henry Cronk and John Elmer Cronk; a sister: Bernice (Thomas) Parker; a brother: Daniel Dunnam; and a son-in-law: Edward Sharkus. To cherish her memory she leaves behind a daughter: Julia Sharkus of Deerfield Township; a sister: Eileen (Norman) Freimark; a grandson: Edward Sharkus of Linton, Indiana; and a great granddaughter: Chloe Sharkus of Linton, Indiana. Cremation has taken place. Friends may gather at 12:00pm on Thursday, June 6, 2013 for a Graveside Service at LaSalle Township Cemetery.
