Obituary of Renea Neely- Clippert
Renea Neely was born on October 3, 1965 in Lubbock, Texas. She was one of five children born from the union of her parents: the late Paris Neely and the late Nancy (Hall) Neely. Renea received her education by attending Monroe High School, but was always more concerned about her family. She helped raise her baby sister and was always there to take care of her needs and provide protection when needed.
In 1987 she was blessed with her daughter: Tina and a second daughter in 1989: Paige. She dedicated her life to taking care of her girls and worked hard to support them by working as a line worker in the automotive field for many years at Yanfeng.
When she wasn’t working, she enjoyed listening to Classic Rock and Roll music, attending concerts and watching her favorite daytime shows including: General Hospital, Knox Landing. She always had to be home in time to watch her favorite: Maury. She was a woman of many words and never held back from what was on her mind. Her lack of filter always left those around her surprised, only adding to her entertainment by watching their responses.
Above anything, family was most important to her. She remained forever close with her sister and daughters and cherished every moment she could with her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. Renea was who she was, and she wasn’t shy about it. Her free spirit and kind heart are just a few things that will be deeply missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her and there will forever be a void in the hearts of those she loved.
Renea Neely-Clippert, age 53 of Monroe, passed away unexpectedly in her home on Saturday, June 1, 2019. Her passing is preceded by her parents.
To cherish her memory, she leaves her two daughters: Tina (Danny Johnson) Neely and Paige Neely; her siblings: Terry (Joyce) Lowe, Donna (Glen) Reis, Richard Ausbrooks and Robin (Missy) Barbosa; and her grandchildren: Alexis Neely, Aubree Neely and Liam Johnson. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Family and friends may gather on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 from 2:00pm until a Celebration of Her Life at 5:00pm at Merkle Funeral Service, South Monroe 14567 South Dixie Highway (734) 241-7070 with Pastor Roy Southerland of Monroe Missionary Baptist Church officiating.
