Obituary of Brian Thomas Goda

Brian Thomas Goda was born on August 5, 1974 in Monroe, Michigan. He was one of five children born from the union of his parents: the late Donald Goda and Sharon LaBarre-Goda-Cason. Brian met and married the love of his life: the former Marisa Revard on March 19, 2018.

Brian worked as a handyman in construction and was self employed throughout the majority of his working career. In his spare time, he enjoyed working with his hands and took an interest in woodworking.

Brian Thomas Goda, age 44 of Erie, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 29, 2019. He is preceded in death by his father: Donald Goda and brother: Mark Allan Goda.

To cherish his memory, he leaves his wife: Marisa Goda; his mother: Sharon (Chet) LaBarre-Goda-Cason; his son: Tyler Goda; step daughter: Brooke Herron; his siblings: Donnie (Theresa) Goda, Kelly Cole and Mark Goda; his aunt Donna and Uncle Gary and many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. He is also survived by his in-laws: Debra Revard, Scott Gordon, Paul Revard; and sister in law: Michelle.

Family and friends may gather on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 from 10:00am until a Memorial Service at 12:00pm at Merkle Funeral Service, North Monroe 2442 North Monroe Street (734)384-5185 with Pastor Roy Southerland from Monroe Missionary Baptist Church officiating.
