Obituary of Carl Louis Roger Purdy
Carl Louis Roger Purdy was born on June 30, 1986 in Dearborn, Michigan. He was the son of the late Jack Roger Purdy and Linda Marie Durant. He earned his GED in 2016.
Carl had a great sense of humor and was quite funny with an amazing personality. He was always entertaining and kept those around him on their toes. Carl enjoyed outdoors and many of the activities that came with it. He loved to camp, ride four-wheelers, fish, and just spending time on the boat.
He was a hard worker and for many years had supported himself as a construction laborer. When he was able to get away his favorite destination was that of Tennessee.
Carl was most passionate about his family. He cherished being a father and caring for his daughter’s needs was what he valued most. He was also very close with his sisters and had a special bond with Paula. He loved to relax and converse with friends.
Carl Louis Roger Purdy, age 32; of Monroe; passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 23, 2019. His passing was preceded by his father: Jack Roger Purdy and a brother David Durant.
To cherish his memory, Carl leaves his beloved daughter: Lydia of Ida, Michigan; mother: Linda Marie Durant of Monroe; five sisters: Paula Purdy of Monroe; Collette Purdy of Petersburg; Alyssa Durant and Dawn Durant both of Ida; and Missy Willis of North Carolina.
