Obituary of Robert Warren Stanard

Robert Warren Stanard was born on September 3, 1969 in Goodrich, Michigan. He was born to Robert Lewis Stanard and Cynthia Warren. Robert was raised by his father and step-mother: Patricia and attended Lake Orion High School, graduating in 1988.

Robert married the love of his life, Jeanette Marie Pulido, on December 16, 1989 in Hollister, CA.  The couple would be blessed with the birth of two sons.  Robert was a positive role model and a great husband and father.   He was especially proud of his two sons always willing to provide guidance and support whenever possible.

Robert served his country honorably in the United States Army.   He obtained the rank of Sergeant; working as a Blackhawk helicopter mechanic crew leader.   After his discharge, Robert, spent twenty-two years, employed at the Trenton Engine Plant for Fiat Chrysler Automotive as a machinist.   While at Chrysler, Robert, volunteered his time to fellow veterans serving on the UAW Veterans Committee.  He would take a medical retirement in 2016.

Robert had a contagious laugh and he always lived life to the fullest.   Although he was a private person, Robert was yet a tremendous friend to those around him.   He loved the outdoors and hunting.   Northern Michigan was a favorite destination for he and his friends.  Robert loved working with his hands and was talented with whatever he set his mind to, often wrenching on cars.   He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle.
