Paul Goins

Obituary of Paul Edward Goins

Paul Edward Goins was born on October 4, 1968 in Trenton, Michigan.   He was the son of the late Chester Goins and the late Mary Gaye (Rose) Goins Colf.   He attended Jefferson Schools.

Paul had many varied interests.   He enjoyed playing pool and had participated in several leagues over the years.   He absolutely loved to fish anywhere, although he had a special place in his heart for Fletcher’s Pond in Hillman, Michigan.   This was where many wonderful family memories were made.

Paul also enjoyed auto racing, preferring the likes of the Sprint Car circuit and the dirt track.   He didn’t mind being the center of attention.   He lived life to the fullest, often without any reserve.   Paul had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed telling tall tales and pulling harmless pranks.  He found a way to be happy all the time, and never shied away from cooking dinner or firing up the barbeque.

For the past year, Paul, had been employed by Artiflex Manufacturing in Clyde, Ohio.  He worked as a Hi-Lo Driver/Lift Truck Operator.

Paul Edward Goins, age 50, of Fremont, Ohio, formerly of Newport, Michigan, passed unexpectedly from this life at 8:45pm on Monday, January 21, 2019 at ProMedica Toledo Hospital where he had been since January 13.   His passing was preceded by his parents.
