Obituary of Adan Coronado
Adan Coronado was born September 12th, 1938 in Matamoros Mexico and was raised in Brownville Texas. He was born from the union of Apolinar Marce Coronado and Maria Aracelia Manrequez.
In 1957 the Coronado family started trucking and migrant work, traveling and taking the family all over the U.S. In the spring of 1958, they traveled to Immokalee, Florida, where he met and the love of his life, Guadalupe Bernal. He and Guadalupe were married on April 12th, 1958.
Early in Adans ventures to support his family, he began work by trucking for several farmers across the U.S. However, most of his work was done in Erie, Michigan where he was hired at the assembly plant at Ford Motor Company in Monroe, Michigan.
After an early medical retirement, Adan went back into the trucking business. During his time trucking, he hauled everything from produce, to live fish, to automobiles. In his spare time, he enjoyed dirt bike riding and fixing race cars and hot rods. He enjoyed watching Texas Ranger and old western movies on television. Adan was a dedicated family man. He often gave advice his sons, ensuring that they would be men of principal.
Adan looked forward to visiting his friends at church. He received his spiritual nourishment as a member of Victory Temple in Monroe, Michigan. Family was the most important thing to Adan. He cherished moments spent with the, especially his grandchildren. He will forever he remembered by those who knew him for his endless kindness, sense of humor and his unique western style.
Adan Coronado, age 80, passed away unexpectedly at home at 12:25 p.m. on December 31st, 2018. In addition to his parents passing, he is preceded in death by his three brothers Jose, Guadalupe, Aepolito.
To cherish his memory, he leaves behind his beloved wife of fifty years: Guadalupe Coronado; five children: Maria (Joel) Diaz, Adam (Rafaela) Coronado, Alice Coronado, Martin (Staffine) Coronado, Edward (Petra) Coronado; one brother: Pedro Coronado; three sisters: Vera, Victoria, Ninfa. He also leaves behind 20 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
