Obituary of Edith Loope

Edith Hall was born on July 25, 1924 in Lee County, Virginia.   She was one of thirteen children born from the union of John Hall and Maudie (Daniel) Hall.   Edith married the love of her life, J.B. Loope on August 20, 1946 in Middlesboro, Kentucky and from this union came the blessing of nine children.

Edith painstakingly cared for the needs of her husband and children.    Family meant the most to her and she worked hard to care for them.   For many years, Edith also worked as a nursing assistant at the Mercy Memorial Nursing Center.   She retired in 1992.

Edith appreciated the simple things in life.   She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and affectionally feeding the squirrels and birds who visited her yard each day.
