Obituary of Freddy Eugene Erby
Freddy Eugene Erby was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on April 11, 1937. He was the only child born from the union of the late John P. Erby and the late Daisy (Strickland) Erby.
Fred married the love of his life the former, Betty Bracey, on November 5, 1955 in Dundee. The couple would celebrate the birth of three children: Debbie, Tammy, and Rick. Fred was a humble and gentle soul. He placed the needs of his family first. Fred provided for his family through employment at General Motors Company. He worked at the Hydromatic plant in Toledo as an assembler for many years. Later, in his career he would become a machinist. He retired in 1993 after thirty years of service.
Although, Fred knew his responsibility of providing financially was important, he also knew that spending time with those he loved to be essential. First and foremost, he was a big-hearted family man.
Fred was also very competitive by nature. He found satisfaction for this yearning by becoming a great bowler and challenging others to shooting pool. But being a simple man, Fred enjoyed walking his dogs regularly.
