Obituary of Karen Louise Weaver
Karen Louise Letourneau was born on January 14, 1948 in Detroit, Michigan. She was one of four children born from the union of her parents: the late William Letourneau and the late Rosanna (Lalonde) Letourneau. She received her education from Jefferson High School and graduated with the class of 1966.
In her younger years, Karen enjoyed bowling with friends and family. She enjoyed having a good time and would never turn down an evening with friends playing one of many card games or BINGO. Karen was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers and wouldn’t miss a game. She loved Elvis Presley and has accumulated many Elvis memorabilia items throughout her years.
Above everything, Karen loved her family. She was a good mother, a great grandmother and she loved her nieces and nephews, some of which she raised as her own. She was a call-it-how-ya-see it kind of gal, but did not let that outshine her kind, loving and gentle personality.
Karen Louise Weaver, age70, of Monroe, passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Genesis HealthCare in Point Place. In addition to her parents passing, she is preceded in death by her former husband and love of her life: Larry Vaughn Jones; her late husband: John Weaver; her brother: William Letourneau; and her sister: Janet Letourneau.
To cherish her memory, she leaves her two sons: Leslie “Keith” Laney and Joseph Laney; her brother: Larry Letourneau, four grandchildren: Jacob Laney, Tyler Laney, Shelby Laney and Aubrey Congioloso; one great grandchild: Tanner St. Bernard and many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
