Obituary of Robert Clifford Keener Jr.
Robert Clifford Keener Jr. was born on March 20, 1968 in Monroe, Michigan. He was the oldest of four children born from the union of his parents: Robert Clifford Keener, Sr. and the late Deborah (Snyder) Keener. He received his education by attending school at Jefferson High School. He worked for many years as a laborer at various places including Premier Transportation and the Mall of Monroe.
From an early age, Bobby had a love for vehicles earning himself the nickname “Hot Rod”. His favorite hobby was building model cars and has spent countless hours making sure every detail was impeccable. He enjoyed time spent with his father watching NASCAR races in the sure hopes his favorite driver: Denny Hamlin would take the checkered flag.
When he wasn’t watching fast cars, he enjoyed watching football, especially his beloved Miami Dolphins. He enjoyed listening to music, but was stuck in the 80’s, as this was when the best music was made. His favorite band was ACDC.
Bobby was a jokester and enjoyed making those around him laugh. His wonderful sense of humor and playful personality will be missed by those closest to him.
Robert Clifford Keener, Jr., age 50 of Monroe, passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Medilodge of Monroe. His passing is preceded by his mother: Deborah Keener in 2008.
To cherish his memory, he leaves his father: Robert Clifford Keener Sr., his three baby sisters: Tabetha (Brian) Liparoto, Brandy (Jason) Young and Leah (the late Loren) Craig; his nieces and nephews: Scott, Matthew, Cody, MaKayla, Taylor, Alexis, Elissa and Mason; his great nieces and nephews: Lucas, Logan, Addilyn, Ivy, Hayden and Izabel, and many extended family members and friends.
