Robert Clark

Obituary of Robert Dennis Clark

Robert Dennis Clark was born on June 19, 1950 in Detroit, Michigan. He was one of four children raised by loving parents: Allan Clark and Anita (Welch) Clark. He received his education by attending Kennedy High School in Taylor, Michigan and graduated with the class of 1968. Robert enlisted in the United States Navy in 1969 and proudly served his country on the USS Constellation until he was discharged in 1972.

Bob met the love of his life: Ann Sellards and married in June of 1979.  He worked hard to support his family by working at Ford Motor Company at the Woodhaven Stamping plant for over thirty years.

Bob was the true definition of an outdoorsman. He loved the simple things in life and was always one with nature. He enjoyed hunting, fishing or golfing whenever he had the chance. Bob also stayed active in the community by becoming a member of the Moose Lodge of Monroe 884.

He was a loving husband, a family man who was a great father to his children and he enjoyed time spent with his grandchildren. Bob was a private man who lived simply but well. He had an awnry stubborn streak that lent to his sense of humor and quick wit. Bob worked hard, played hard and loved hard. His playful personality and loving nature will be missed by everyone who knew him.
