Pamela Warner

Obituary of Pamela Ann Warner

Pamela Ann Moede was born in Monroe on July 10, 1948.   She was the daughter of the late Gustav and Florence (Siebarth) Moede.   She was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church where she also attended the day school through the eighth grade.   She graduated from Monroe High School with the Class of 1966.

In August of 1966, she married Robert Warner and the couple would share in the birth of two daughters:  Michele and Rhonda.   Pam was extremely dedicated to her children and as a single mother worked hard to provide for them.   For thirty years she was a member of the Teamsters driving school bus for Monroe Public Schools.  She retired in 2009.   She also created many lasting relationships through her own business Pam’s Tax Service which she continued to operate even after retirement.

Pam was known for her spunk and independence.   Although, she could be quite stubborn and opinionated she had a great sense of humor.   Pam enjoyed the company of others and participated in Thursday night bowling leagues at Nortel Lane for many years.   She also enjoyed playing bunko and bingo among her close circle of friends.

In her quiet time she liked to relax by coloring in her meditation books and complete needle point and crochet projects making beautiful blankets, pot holders, and baby booties to share with others.

Pam, age 70, of Monroe passed away in the emergency department at 4:46pm on Saturday, August 18, 2018 of ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital.   In addition to her father in 1989 and mother in 1999 her passing was preceded by a brother:  Rodney in 1951; and a sister-in-law:  Carol Moede in 1993.

To cherish her memory she leaves two daughters:  Michele Gosla and Rhonda (Tim) Parriet both of Monroe; two brothers:  Doug Moede and Timothy (Renee) Moede; four grandchildren:  Adam (Amanda) Gosla, Carley Cook, Christina (Evan) Heilman, and James Parriet; five great grandchildren:  Abriana, Adam Jr. “A.J.”, and Adalyn Gosla, Chase and Zachary Heilman; and eight nieces and nephews:  Ben, Dusty, Shelley, John, Rebekah, Hannah, Elizabeth, and Rachael.

Friends may gather from 2:00pm-8:00pm on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street (734) 384-5185.   A Celebration of Her Life will take place at 1:00pm on Thursday, August 23 also at Merkle’s with Pastor Roy Southerland officiating.
