Obituary of Robert "Bob" Leonard Peters

Robert Leonard Peters was born on April 5, 1928 in Covington, Indiana. He was one of six children born from the union of the late Lawrence and Ellen (Pine) Peters.

Bob married the love of his life, the former Angela Martha Karwick, on September 2, 1950 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Erie, Michigan. From this union came the birth of three children. He supported his family for over thirty years as a machinist, taking retirement in 1998 from Powenell Products in Toledo.

Bob mostly kept to himself and enjoyed the simple things in life. He enjoyed following NASCAR, attending tractor pulls and spending time with family, mostly with his brother and best friend Denny. Bob loved the outdoors and camping in his free time. As a young man, Bob worked as a shipmate on freighters that ran the Great Lakes.
