Obituary of Tamara Lyn Kimble
Tamara Lyn Kimble was born on December 29, 1972 in Dearborn. She was the daughter of Donald Raymond Dober and Susan Lenore (Weisler) Durkee. She received her education from Dundee High School, graduating in 1991 as an all-season athlete, and went on to nursing school for one year where she received her LPN certification.
Tami married the love of her life, Randolph “Randy” George Kimble on May 24, 1996 and renewed their vows on February 18, 2018. Together they shared a blended family of three children. Tami worked as a nurse for 24 years, the last 14 for Trinity Health retiring as a nurse manager, a job which she loved, until her health declined earlier this year. She was an avid supporter of her daughter’s athletic competitions. She was also a strong supporter of her son’s musical talents. She was very much a life advisor to all her children. While she was a very outgoing person, Tami also enjoyed the peacefulness of the woods and bonfires with friends and family. Tami is also remembered by her family as someone who was loved by all who knew her.
Tami was very compassionate, not only as a nurse, but with everything in her life. Family was most important to Tami and she enjoyed spending time with them. She was very strong willed, yet very accepting of everyone. Because of the love for her, “Tami’s Army” was created in support of her fight against breast cancer.
Tamara Lyn Kimble, age 45, of Dundee passed away on Friday, August 10, 2018. Her passing was preceded by her son, Gabriel Scott Kimble, who died at birth.
To cherish her memory, she leaves her loving husband, Randolph George Kimble; son, Tori Jacob Dober (Natalie); daughter, Haleigh Victoria Smith (Jesse); step-son, Taylor Randolph Liparoto; father, Donald Raymond Dober; mother, Susan Lenore (Weisler) Durkee (George); two brothers; Walter Scott Dober (Penny) and Gregory Ryan Archer (Brandi); and nieces, nephews, and many extended family members and friends.
