Marie Elmore

Obituary of Marie Frances Elmore

Marie Frances Daniels was born on September 14, 1961 in Monroe. She was one of seven children born from the union of: the late Earl Daniels, Sr. and the late Rita (Marino) Daniels. She received her education from Airport High School and graduated with her class.

Marie met and married the love of her life, William “Bill” Elmore on February 20, 1993. Together they decided to start a family of their own and were blessed with two children. Marie stayed at home to raise her family and was a great mother and wife. She always made sure everyone was well taken care of and enjoyed cooking and keeping a tidy home.

She was an animal lover and has had an endless succession of pets and enjoyed the company of each and every one of them. Most recently including her dogs: Moses, Missy, Scout and Chloe; and her cats: Boots and Smokey. She enjoyed taking trips up North to the Upper Peninsula and also down South to Alabama to visit her brother.

Family was most important to Marie and she enjoyed spending time with them. Countless trips were made with her daughter to get their nails done which could only be followed up with an ice cream afterwards. In her spare time, she enjoyed birdwatching or cuddling up to watch a movie in the comfort of her own home.

Marie Frances Elmore, age 56, of Newport passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 9, 2018. Her passing is preceded by her son: Andrew Elmore; two brothers: Robert (the late Karen) Daniels and James Daniels and her parents.
