Linda Price

Obituary of Linda Jane Price

Linda Jane Miller was born on June 13, 1950 in Monroe, Michigan. She was one of six children born from the union of her parents: the late Edward Miller and the late Betty (Boudrie) Miller. After graduating from Ida High School, Linda worked very hard to support her family at Ford Motor Company on the assembly line until her health declined and she retired in 1998.

Linda enjoyed spending time working in her garden, shopping, lounging around the pool and traveling all over the state of Michigan. Above anything, she loved her family and cherished time spent with them.

She was a loving mother who devoted her life to taking care of her children and setting a good example for them. She was strong willed and instilled a hard-working nature in all of her children. She adored her grandchildren and enjoyed spoiling them. Her kind heart and considerate nature will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Linda Jane Price, age 68 of Taylor, passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at her home with her loving children at her side. In addition to her parents, her passing is preceded by Timothy Michael and James Douglas, a set of twins who died at birth; and a grandson: Ian.

To cherish her memory, she leaves her children: David (Sarah) Price, Jr. of Ida, Michael (Traci) Price of Monroe, Dawn (Brad) Carter of South Rockwood and Keith (Melissa “Missy”) Price of Temperance; her brothers: Gary (Nancy)Miller of Tecumseh, Dennis (Deb) Miller of Petersburg and Glen (Sonie) Miller of Tecumseh, her sisters: Cheryl Wyatt of Petersburg and Kim (Joe) Sillman of Ida; 17 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

In accordance to Linda’s wishes she has been cremated. Arrangements have been entrusted to Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street, (734)384-5185. Online guests may leave words of comfort and inspiration or share a photo by visiting our website at www.merkefs.com.
