Obituary of Perry Alan Demerly Jr

Perry Alan Demerly Jr. was born on May 2, 2006 in Toledo, Ohio. He was born from Perry Alan Demerly Sr. and Blanca Ybarra. Perry attended Deerfield Schools and was in the sixth grade.

At first Perry would come off shy but would soon open up to share his playful side and infectious smile. He enjoyed having a good time and laughed often. Perry was an amazing brother to his siblings and cared deeply for them. His family meant the most to him and he enjoyed sharing their company.

Perry had an ear for music, listening to his favorite tunes often. He spent time playing sports, especially basketball, and trying to win the newest video games. Perry would ride his bike around the neighborhood and made many friends who will miss him dearly.

Perry Alan Demerly Jr, age 12 of Monroe, passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital in Toledo. Perry is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather: Robert Demerly.

To cherish his memory, Perry leaves his parents: Perry Alan Demerly Sr. and Blanca Ybarra; his step-father: Dennis Klatt; siblings: Esperoniza, Ryan, Jason, Melissa and Samantha; his maternal grandparents: Janice and Julian Ybarra; paternal grandmother: Harriett Demerly; his aunts: Elena Serrato, Vanessa Rosas, Cheri Demerly, Susan Cook and Angelita Ybarra; his uncles: Daryl Demerly, Julian Ybarra III, Jose Ybarra, Antonio Ybarra, Ernesto Ybarra, Juan Ybarra, Neto Ybarra and Jesus Ybarra; and many cousins and friends.

Friends may gather on Monday, July 9, 2018 from 2:00pm until a Celebration of His Life at 7:00pm at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street (734)384-5185 with Pastor David Voss and David Linville of Lower Light Church in Petersburg.
