Obituary of Stanley Jerome Rozycki III

Stanley Jerome Rozycki, III was born on April 5, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan. He was one of four boys born from the union of his parents: the late Senator Stanley F. Rozycki and the late Mae Ann (Rudnicki) Rozycki. He served as a page boy in the House of Representatives for President Truman his first three years of high school before graduating with the class of 1954 from Highland Park. It was there that he met the love of his life, Miss Marcia Brown. They were married on May 21, 1955 at St. John Vianny Church in Detroit and from this union came the birth of their three beautiful children.

To support his family, he worked at the State of Michigan Lottery Bureau for twenty-five years until retiring in 1998. He enjoyed being outdoors, preferably hunting, fishing or just walking in the woods. He subjected his entire family to watching Fox News making sure everyone knew about his conservative beliefs.

Above anything, Stanley loved his family. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, who nicknamed him Pops, Popsicle Papa and Popeye Stanley. He was loved by everyone who knew him and will be missed by many.
