Obituary of Eva "Claudine" Braden
Eva “Claudine” Bolton was born on November 11, 1933 in Corbin, Kentucky to the union of the late James Chris and the late Hulta Edna (Whitman) Bolton. She was a 1952 graduate of Hall High School.
On May 14, 1952, Claudine married the love of her life, Jesse Braden in Jonesville, Virginia. From this marriage the couple was blessed with the birth of five children.
Claudine was a proud, Southern woman. She was a devoted wife and mother that worked hard each day to care for the needs of her family. For several years she enjoyed working outside the home with employment at Big Wheel and Meijer as well as becoming a Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant. Claudine was an excellent baker and cook. Claudine held on to tradition by hosting Sunday Dinners for her family. In her free time, you could find her enjoying the outdoors. She proudly and painstakingly maintained several beautiful flower gardens at her home.
