Obituary of JoAnna Lee Reed

JoAnna Lee Davis was born on May 6, 1944 in Norfolk, Virginia.   She was born from the union of the late Floyd Davis and the late Dorothy (Leiland) Davis.   After high school, JoAnna enlisted in the United States Army where she served her country honorably until her discharge. For many years, JoAnna was employed by the State of Michigan working as a Clerk until her retirement. 

JoAnna married, Jack Reed on September 22, 1989 in Virginia.   Together the couple would share many wonderful experiences.   Joanna enjoyed the beauty of nature and all it had to offer. She would sit for hours, watching critters and enjoying the outside.   JoAnna had never met a stranger and had the uncanny ability to strike up conversations with strangers.   Being a natural social butterfly, she made many friends and was always a joy to be around.

JoAnna Lee Reed, age 74 of LaSalle, passed away peacefully at 3:55am on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Healthcare Center.   Her beloved husband, Jack was at her side and she had been under the care of ProMedica Monroe Hospice.    Her passing was preceded by her parents.

To cherish her memory, she leaves her beloved husband of twenty-nine years: Jack Reed of LaSalle.
