Evelyn met the love of her life, James Luke Durocher, and they were married on November 16, 1957 at St. Anne Catholic Church. She was proud of the Durocher Family heritage and began working for the historical farm managing the books. She loved her family dearly and she was the best Auntie anyone could ever ask for.
Mindful of others, Evelyn, was a wonderful host. She loved to open her home to neighbors, family, and friends, cooking special meals and providing entertainment. Visitors were always made to feel like family. Her quick wit made her a joy to converse with.
