Sharon Jean Bondie was born in Monroe, Michigan on October 7, 1951. She was the daughter of the late Robert D. Bondie Sr. and the late Jean D. (Marcie) Bondie. Sharon graduated from Airport High School with the Class of 1969, and later obtained her Associate Degree Cum Laude from Monroe County Community College.
She married George E. Everett III on December 28, 1968. From this union the couple shared in the birth of four beautiful children. Sharon worked as a Direct Care Worker for several homes in Monroe County. She became an Assistant Group Home Manager at Macomb House in Monroe. She would serve for a brief period as a Group Home Manager opening the Granby Home. Sharon retired in 1995.
She was a member of Compelled Church in Temperance and enjoyed singing in the choir. Sharon also participated in E.A. Meetings in Toledo in the 1980's. She often spent time writing cards of encouragement to others.
Sharon was very quiet and reserved. She cherished more than anything the time that was spent with her family. Holiday gatherings were always dearest to her heart and sharing the kitchen and baking with the children were favorite pastimes. She loved the company of her four-legged feline friends. Sharon often could be found tending to her garden, feeding the birds, completing crafts, and making wreaths. One of her favorite things was lighthouses.
Sharon Jean Everett, age 62 of Temperance, went to be with her Lord after passing away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 23, 2014 at her home. Her passing was preceded by her parents.
