Obituary of Larry Douglas Moore

Larry Douglas Moore was born on January 14, 1947 in Monroe, Michigan. He was one of six boys born from the union of the late Lawrence E. Moore and the late Allene (Hall) Moore. Larry enlisted into the United States Army, where he proudly served his country during the Vietnam War.

Larry Douglas Moore, age 71 of Luna Pier, passed away at 12:20am on Friday, April 27, 2018 at Medilodge of Monroe. In additional to his parents, his passing is preceded by a brother: Lawrence E. Moore Jr.

To cherish his memory, Larry leaves his four brothers: Daniel (Pam) Moore of Luna Pier, Jeff (Sherri) Moore of Monroe, Richard Moore of Monroe and Dennis (Paula) Moore of Kentucky, and many nieces nephews, and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Merkle Funeral Service, South Monroe; 14567 South Dixie Highway (734)241-7070. He will be laid to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
