Obituary of Kennedy Marie Mayes
Kennedy Marie Mayes was born in Monroe on November 29, 1999 to Brandon Mayes and Andreana (Scheick) Smith. A bright student and loved by all, she graduated from Monroe High School with honors in 2017. Being very goal-oriented, Kennedy, continued her studies at Mercy College of Ohio focusing on Radiology.
Kennedy was a hard-worker and balanced babysitting with employment at Cakes by Stephanie while going to school. Kennedy was saved and later baptized on Dec 23, 2007 at Monroe Missionary Baptist Church. There she was involved in many different ministries, serving with children’s church and other youth events. Kennedy was quick-witted, sweet, kind, and fun. She had an eye for fashion and a personality that could warm any room. Kennedy loved to spend time with family and friends and especially enjoyed going out to eat. With a servant’s heart and generosity to a fault, she would help anyone with anything. Kennedy was a loyal and wonderful sister to her three brothers.
She was extremely blessed to have a very special bond with her boyfriend, Nick Morgan. She also loved to spend time with Nick’s Family, and looked forward to the day she would get married and start a family of her own.
