Obituary of Linda Faye Ellison
Linda Faye Ellison was born in Monroe, Michigan on March 4, 1948. She was one of four daughters born from the union of the late Roy Wilson and Rena (Rowland) Wilson. Linda attended Airport High School and later furthered her education at Stautzenberger College.
Linda married the love of her life, Larry Ellison on September 4, 1971 at the United Methodist Church in Monroe. From this union came the birth of two beautiful children. Linda worked as a legal secretary until becoming a homemaker after the birth of her first child and later worked as a seamstress.
A devoted wife to her husband, mom, and “gramma”, she cherished even the smallest of memories made. She loved the Lord and listening to sound biblical preaching. She was considered a professional at organizing around the home and was always involved in planning family events. A natural giver, Linda was always willing to help anyone in need. Linda enjoyed tending to her flower beds and vegetable garden and canning the vegetables she and Larry had grown themselves. She had an eye for antiques and often spent her free time sewing and making quilts.
Linda Faye Ellison, age 69, of Carleton went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 19, 2018 at her home. She is preceded in death by her father: Roy Wilson.
To cherish her memory, she leaves a beloved husband of forty-six years: Larry Ellison of Carleton; her son: Shawn (Alyssa) Ellison of Washington; a daughter: Carrie (James) Focht of Carleton; her mother: Rena Wilson of Monroe; three grandchildren: Emma Faye, Jacob and Noelle; and three sisters: Sherry (Dan) Standifer, Judy (Jack) Everly and Debbie (Jim) Boughey.
