You are going to be missed Uncle Leo Xoxo ...You were the last link of Dad (Roger) Its hard to say good bye . You were always making people laugh . You were the Uncle I had that I didn’t think you even knew my name lol when you seen me even as an adult you would call me George I didn’t care much for the nickname until I learned where it came from Aunt Bev and you gave me the nickname from George of the jungle . But I can say this I will still have it now you are gone Dale, Debbie, and Daryl will still carry it on because you installed it in them lol . Aunt Bev Told me finally why I was named George. Aunt Bev would come to visit and I would be swinging from curtain to curtain trying to get a balloon. How I use to get all the way to the ceiling with no problems . And she couldn’t understand how I never so much as pulled them down or out of the wall . Well guess I was George of the jungle . I have good memories from our family reunions ,and also when we were little on Christmas Eve Uncle Leo would show up passing out candy canes to us kids, we just thought We were the special ones lol But when I got older i realize no my Uncle Leo was the special Uncle to think of us ! I’m also so glad Uncle Leo you were able to meet my children and get to know my Son Lenny he enjoyed listening to your fishing stories I’m sure he had a few for you to . Well Uncle Leo if it’s nit asking to much could you do me a favor could you give mom and dad a hug and kiss from me and tell them hello and I miss them ! Also I want to Thank you for being my Uncle !!!

Fireman first class is a rank he held when he was honorably discharged. He held other ranks throughout his time in the Coast Guard. His military experience is one that few men lived to tell about. He was a fighter to the end. We are so proud of him and proud to call him Grandpa.
