Justin had an enormous heart. He had recently spent a couple years in North Carolina, and he worked in food service for local restaurants, as a cook and a waiter. Since he was a child he had a special relationship with his Aunt Bobby, and uncle Rick Solea, after joining them in North Carolina Justin was quite the outdoorsman finding joy in boating, fishing, target shooting. His hobbies also extended to a need for speed, and an appreciation for motorcycles and snowmobiles. Justin was a big sports fan, football was his favorite. The Dallas Cowboys were his favorite team, and he treasured his Cowboys coat he got from his cousin Steve who passed in 2005.
