Obituary of Vicella Ann Pfefferle
Vicella Ann Goss was born at the family farm in Lynch, Kentucky on October 27, 1948. She was one of four from the union of the late Nuel Edward Goss and the late Loreida (Lawson) Goss. As a young girl the family moved to Michigan where Vicella would attend school and graduate from Monroe High School.
For many years, Vicella worked in home health care. A hard worker, she was dedicated in taking care of Judge William and Margaret Weipert.
Vicella shared her life with three husbands all of whom passed before her: Charles “Tommy” Sharp, Wayne Dozier, Sheldon Pfefferle. She was also blessed with five children whom she loved dearly. Vicella cherished the time she was able to spend with children and grandchildren. These experiences of course always meant the most to her.
Vicella loved to play Bingo and often could be found watching her favorite shows on the ID Channel. She enjoyed music and loved to dance to her favorite tunes. Vicella was an avid reader until she lost her sight 12 years ago.
Vicella Ann Pfefferle, age 69, of Monroe passed away in her home on Sunday, November 5, 2017. She was proceeded in death by her parents, her three husbands, her sister Sherry Farris and a great grandson Noah Charles.
To cherish her memory she leaves her children: Joy (Bob) Davis of Flat Rock, Janis (Glen) Payne of Jackson Tn, Charles T. (Amy) Sharp II of Monroe, Loreida (Marlon) Martin of Monroe, and Marsha (Kenneth) Bell of Monroe; two brothers: James “Bobby” Connie Goss of Mio and Kory (Tammy) Goss of Monroe; ten grandchildren: Megan, Sarah, Sabrina, Melanie, Dougie, Cierra, Morgan, Harlan, Rae-vin and Dalton; twenty-two great grandchildren; and thirteen step grandchildren.
A memorial luncheon celebrating her life will take place at 2:00pm on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at the Oaks of Righteousness Christian Ministries,Pastor H Boone 924 East Second Street. Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street (734) 384-5185 has been entrusted with her arrangements.
