Charlotte Lee Wright
October 23, 1933 - January 12, 2013
Charlotte Lee Wright was born in Erie, Michigan on October 23, 1933. She was the daughter of the late Thomas "Hap" Kaiser and the late Mary (Lietzke) Kaiser. Charlotte was a 1951 graduate of Monroe High School.
She married the love of her life, LeRoy Wright, on August 21, 1954 in Erie, Michigan. From this union came the birth of three sons.
For more than thirty years, Charlotte served her community as a librarian for the Monroe County Library System. A lifelong Erie resident, Charlotte worked at her local library. On each Friday, she would hold story times at the library where she read to the local school children.
When Charlotte wasn't working she spent her time mending her boy's jeans after they destroyed them, and sewing her own clothing. Charlotte treasured the time spent with her grandsons and was a devoted piano player for more than thirty years of her life. Charlotte enjoyed community involvement and was very active as a member of the "Dozen Doers", even serving as President, an organization that got together once a month to do craft projects.
