Obituary of Nathanael Moore

Nathanael Edward Moore May 10, 1979 - December 19, 2012 Nathanael Edward Moore was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan on May 10, 1979. He was the son of Edward Williams and Gypsie Marie (Moore) Williams. Nathanael was lovingly raised by his grandparents: Delmar and Delorse Moore. He attended Jefferson High School and later earned his GED. Nathanael loved to work and he was a hard worker. For many years he was employed as a laborer working as a carpenter in the construction industry. Nathanael was an avid outdoorsman he was an avid hunter and fisher. Nathanael was especially proud of his son Gavin. He cherished all the time that he spent with him and was looking forward to committing even more time with him. He was a member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church in Monroe. Nathanael Edward Moore age 33 of Newport passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2012. His passing was preceded by his mother: Gypsie Williams on July 4, 1984 and a brother: Steven Moore on June 4, 1968. To cherish his memory he leaves a son: Gavin of Monroe; paternal grandparents: Delmar and Delorse Moore of Monroe; girlfriend: Sarah Bartel of Newport; three sisters: Denise Moore of Monroe; Regina (Al) Barnett of Monroe; Deborah (Jason) Hill of Monroe; brothers: Delmar (Lisa) Moore II of Monroe; DeWayne Moore of Onaway and Nathan (Wendy) Moore of Newport. Friends may gather from 1:00pm until 6:00pm, Sunday, December 23, 2012 at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street (734) 384-5185. A Celebration of His Life will take place at 10:00am, Monday, December 24, 2012 also at Merkle's. Brother Terry Pierce of Kentucky Park Missionary Baptist Church will officiate. Procession will follow to Woodland Cemetery in Monroe for burial. A memorial luncheon will follow at Monroe Missionary Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers memorial donations are suggested the Moore Family to assist with funeral expenses.
