Obituary of Betty Lee Crawford
Betty Lee Hendrick was born on April 6, 1928 in Lansing, Michigan. She was one of three children born from the union of Calvin and Beaula (Parent) Hendrick. After graduating from high school she continued her education going to Westly and Methodist College. Betty moved to Florida and stayed there for many years before returning to Michigan.
To help care for her family, Betty worked in sales at Classic Interiors selling furniture for forty years until she retired in 1994. She loved her job, but not as much as she loved spending time with her family. Betty adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved spending as much time with them as possible. She always enjoyed when her family would come visit her when she lived in Florida. She always looked forward to their visits more than they would love coming to enjoy the sunshine state.
Betty enjoyed cooking and was known for her “famous potatoes.” To relax she always enjoyed watching tv, especially her true crime shows. She always liked to know what was going on in the world. She is known by her family to be a very strong woman who was also very understanding. She was loved and will be missed by many.
